My name is Tony Bonilla. I began this career in Event Production as most of have, as a side job. Mine was during college... I actually went to school for Art education. Began to teach a little but found my self doing more stagehand work in NYC. This lead into a tour with the Circus, then a tour with ANNIE, then Donna, then 8 years later I was still on tour... Time really does fly by. All the while,I was rigging these shows and taking seminars, doing lot’s of math, pulling lots of points.... This brings me to NYC. I decided to stop the touring and attempt to live up the colloquialism, “If ya can make it here, blablabla...” So far, so good, it seems... I am the Production Rigger for the Cipriani venues in NYC, began this consulting company and freelance for other companies to do larger event as listed below.
Now, with over 15 years experience, I feel it is time to begin sharing the knowledge I have accumulated over the years. With a background in education, the curriculum is comprehensive and designed for all levels of persons wanting to obtain understanding of Entertainment Rigging.
